Viterbo, main town in its province, is a 60 thousand people small town with medieval origins located at the feet
of the Cimini Mountains, volcanic heights in High Lazio.
Viterbo is the centre of "Tuscia", Etruscan cradle. It is situated in an ideal junction, that gives the visitors
a large range of opportunities to satisfy their needs.
Here, in less than 30 minutes by car, you pass from history to landscapes, from plains to mountains of pine and
chestnut trees, from thermal waters to lakes and the sea.
"Tuscia" is a famous agricultural centre, there are abundant growing of fine grapes , hazel, chestnut and olive
trees and the production of good wine is internationally widespread.
But it's not that all about Viterbo and Tuscia.
There are museums and churches, houses and gardens, palaces and castles of such an important historical and
artistical value that you won't find so numerous gathered in a territory of that extension (about 3.600 square
kilometres large).
Moreover the richness of traditions, a lot of celebrations keep alive the link between old rites, religious
events and the new generations.

The Riccio's Inn: Bed & Breakfast, from an ancient flavour.
The B&B "Riccio's Inn" is in the hearth of historical centre in Viterbo, in an ancient restored
"Palazzetto" (Small Building) in the medieval neighbourhood of S. Pellegrino.
The home is composed of quiet rooms and private bathroom, immersed in an atmosphere of past times.
"... The building was originally comprehensive of the big tower that overlooks the public road.
The building, although transforming through centuries, dates back to the second half of the XV century;
at the end of the century, the building became property of the noble Atti's family from Todi and Viterbo's towns .
The noble family was used to rent out its possessions and very close to it Atti's family realized an abbatoir
that they themselves were managing.
In 1871, when the family became extinct, the property was given to the 'Propaganda Fide' Congregation ..."(*)
